Choose the automation level by labour and changeover reality

Operator-loaded equipment can be practical for small or uncertain campaigns and provides a lower-complexity route for frequent product changes. Multi-head semi-automatic equipment can increase batch throughput while retaining manual bottle movement. Automatic inline systems become more attractive where repeated formats, sustained output and connected capping or labelling justify conveyorised handling. The comparison should include loading, unloading, replenishment, cleaning, first-off checks and downstream work—not only the filling cycle.

Protect flexibility without accepting uncontrolled adjustment

Flexibility should mean documented settings, verified change parts and a repeatable first-off process. It should not depend on unrecorded trial-and-error.
